Donald Jackson Appointed Assistant Treasurer for Cummins
Donald Jackson has been appointed Assistant Treasurer for Cummins Inc. Cummins Inc., a global power leader, is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems. Headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, (USA) Cummins employs approximately 46,000 people worldwide and serves customers in approximately 190 countries and territories through a network of more than 600 company-owned and independent distributor locations and approximately 6,500 dealer locations. Cummins earned $1.66 billion on sales of $17.3 billion in 2012.
Previously, Donald was the Vice President of Finance, Americas, for Hewlett-Packard where he oversaw 170 finance professionals in Canada, US and Latin America based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Donald’s career has spanned more than 20 years in Treasury and Finance with extensive experiences in all chairs, including currency and interest rate risk management, global short term liquidity management, corporate finance, pension risk management, working capital management and banking. He has ascended into many leadership roles throughout HP’s organization through his strong financial expertise, his ability to adapt to different challenges and strong relationship building skills. He spent the early part of his career as a foreign exchange trader at Grupo Financiero Banamex-Accival, Mexico’s oldest and largest bank prior to being acquired by Citibank prior to moving into a similar role at Compaq.
Donald received his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Spanish from Texas Christian University and MBA in Finance from Rice University.
