Founder & CEO

Cookie founded McIntyre Global Executive Search in Columbus in 1990 after working in retained executive search on senior engagements for global clients across a wide range of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, technology and retail. Her client experience is diverse and includes Ernst & Young, Sumitomo Corporation, W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc., Cummins, Worthington Industries, Albertsons and Cardinal Health.

In 2007, Cookie’s vision to offer her clients global services motivated her to become a Principal in Penrhyn International, the world’s 10th largest search firm with 21 partners across four continents. McIntyre has now expanded globally with projects as far-reaching as China, India, Brazil and Germany.

Her philosophy of creating a company based on a high level of personal service and a deep connection to clients and candidates has enabled McIntyre to attract and retain a blue chip list of clients from many different industries. She believes her success lies in hiring great people and giving them the support and freedom to do their best.

Cookie is a recipient of numerous honors and awards, has been featured in CEO and Entrepreneur magazines and quoted in USA Today and other publications. Ms. McIntyre is a recipient of the National Association of Women Owned Businesses Visionary Award. In recent years, Ms. McIntyre has been named a “Businesswoman On the Move” by Business First and a “Woman Making a Difference” by the Columbus Dispatch.

Cookie loves to travel the world in search of new ideas, local cuisines, great golf courses, interesting conversations and different perspectives on the human condition.
